Prayer Changes Things
Here is a transcript of the prayer I prayed at the end of yesterday’s sermon. It’s one way to guard our hearts from greed and its effect on our attitude and actions. Sure, it’s my prayer, but try praying it on a regular basis.
Lord, enlarge our hearts, not our barns.
Teach us to measure our lives not by what we store, but by what we share.
Make our generosity a mirror of Your grace, so that when You look upon us, You see not our wealth, but our love.
Amen.

A Confirming Word on Old King Herod
